Signature Fold LLC — Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 1, 2026 Last Updated: May 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of laundry and linen services provided by Signature Fold LLC, a California limited liability company ("Signature Fold," "we," "us," or "our"). By clicking "I agree to the Terms of Service" during checkout, by signing a Service Agreement Addendum that incorporates these Terms, or by using our services in any form, you ("Client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our Privacy Policy is published at https://www.signaturefold.com/privacy-policy and is incorporated by reference.

1. Services

Signature Fold provides structured wash, dry, and fold laundry and linen services designed to support ongoing, high-volume needs for businesses and select private residences. Our service is built for operations that require consistency, scalability, and reliability — ranging from short-term rental operators and wellness facilities to larger organizations and multi-location businesses with continuous laundry demand.

2. Service Limitations

Signature Fold provides wash, dry, and fold laundry services only. We do not offer dry cleaning or specialized garment care. Items requiring dry cleaning or labeled "dry clean only" should not be included in service. If such items are included, they are processed at Client's sole risk.

Signature Fold does not provide services to healthcare, medical, dental, clinical, or veterinary clients, and does not accept patient-handled linens, clinical waste linens, or any items that have been used in the delivery of medical care. Inclusion of such items is grounds for immediate termination under Section 12 (Cancellation and Termination).

3. Turnovers and Volume

Each subscription plan defines a standard weekly turnover frequency and included volume. The Client's selected plan tier governs included service. Additional bags, requested turnovers outside the standard service schedule, or volume in excess of the included poundage will be billed as overage fees in accordance with Section 7 (Payments). Clients will be notified of additional charges before processing when reasonably possible, but advance notice is not a precondition to overage billing.

4. Scheduling

Services are performed on a pre-arranged schedule selected by the Client through our scheduling platform. Clients are responsible for ensuring linens are accessible at the agreed pickup window. Missed or inaccessible pickups may result in rescheduling, a missed-pickup fee of $35, or both, at Signature Fold's discretion.

5. Laundry and Linen Care

All items are cleaned using standard commercial laundering practices. While we take reasonable care in handling linens, Signature Fold does not guarantee complete stain removal and is not responsible for normal wear, fading, or shrinkage that may occur during the cleaning process. Client is responsible for ensuring all items provided are suitable for standard wash-and-fold processing. Signature Fold is not responsible for damage to items that require special care, including but not limited to dry-clean-only garments, delicate fabrics, embroidered or embellished items, items with specific care instructions, or items that exceed the temperature, agitation, or chemical tolerances of standard commercial processing.

6. Right of Refusal

Signature Fold reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability, to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service for any of the following:

  • Linens that contain or appear to contain biohazardous materials, including but not limited to blood, bodily fluids, or human or animal waste;

  • Linens that are soiled beyond reasonable commercial laundering standards;

  • Linens contaminated with hazardous chemicals, solvents, paint, mold, asbestos, lead dust, or other materials that pose a risk to equipment, staff, or other Clients' linens;

  • Linens reasonably suspected of having been used in connection with illegal activity;

  • Items in volumes substantially exceeding the Client's plan that have not been disclosed in advance.

In the event of refusal, the affected items will be returned uncleaned. No refund is owed for service refused under this Section.

7. Payments

Services are billed on a recurring monthly basis in accordance with the selected service plan. Additional services, including extra turnovers and per-pound overages, will be billed in addition to the base monthly fee. Pricing is based on the agreed service scope and may be adjusted with at least 30 days' written notice if service requirements change materially. All payments are non-refundable once services have begun for a given billing cycle, except as expressly required by applicable law. Failed payments may result in suspension of service following at least 3 business days' notice to the email address on file.

8. Trial Period

If your plan includes a free trial, services performed during the 7-day trial are not billed except for any per-turnover overage fees that apply (per-pound overage fees are waived during trial). At the end of the trial, your selected plan rate is charged in full and recurring monthly thereafter on the anniversary of trial end, unless cancelled before trial expiration. See Section 16 for California-specific automatic-renewal disclosures.

9. Plan Adjustments

Our service plans are structured around a Client's typical usage. If actual usage consistently exceeds the included range of the selected plan over a period of 60 days or more, Signature Fold reserves the right to adjust the Client to a more appropriate service tier to ensure continued service quality and operational consistency. Plan adjustments will be communicated in advance and implemented at the start of the following billing cycle.

10. Claims

Any claim for missing, damaged, or lost items must be reported in writing to customerservice@signaturefold.com within five (5) business days of delivery. Failure to report within this timeframe results in the claim being deemed waived. Signature Fold's investigation of a timely-reported claim shall include reasonable inspection and documentation; Client agrees to cooperate with the investigation.

11. Liability and Limitation of Damages

Signature Fold is not responsible for: (a) normal wear and tear, shrinkage, or fabric damage due to standard washing and drying; (b) delicate, special-care, or designer items not disclosed in advance and explicitly accepted by Signature Fold in writing; (c) items left inside linens, including personal belongings, valuables, currency, or debris.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNATURE FOLD'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO CLIENT FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY CLIENT TO SIGNATURE FOLD IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SIGNATURE FOLD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF BUSINESS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Nothing in this Section limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable California law, including but not limited to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

12. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may cancel ongoing service with fourteen (14) days' written notice before the next billing cycle. Cancellation notice must be provided to customerservice@signaturefold.com. Any outstanding balances, including overage fees from the final billing cycle, must be settled prior to cancellation being finalized.

Signature Fold reserves the right to terminate service immediately for non-payment after the grace period in Section 7, breach of these Terms, abusive conduct toward staff, violation of law, or repeated triggering of the Right of Refusal in Section 6.

13. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, weather events, public health emergencies, utility outages, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, wildfires, earthquakes, or governmental orders. Service obligations are suspended for the duration of the qualifying event.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and each party irrevocably consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts and waives any objection based on inconvenient forum.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLIENT WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, OR CONSOLIDATED PROCEEDING. This waiver does not apply to any claim that, under California law, may not be waived (including, where applicable, claims for public injunctive relief under the standard set in McGill v. Citibank, N.A., 2 Cal. 5th 945 (2017)).

15. Changes to These Terms

Signature Fold may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Client by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Terms version constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any signed Service Agreement Addendum executed between Signature Fold and Client and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written.
